Behaviour Consultations

As an ASAB Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) and full member of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), many insurance companies will cover, at least in part, fees charged for behaviour consultations.

Direct Claims may also accepted where preauthorisation has been obtained.

Other Services

Adoption and Foster Care Assessments

A service to assess dogs within the home of potential adoptive parents or foster carers. Includes comprehensive report and advice, and 3 months follow up advice if the adoption proceeds.

Puppy Advice Service

Puppy advice phone calls and visits; £85 per hour*. Suitable for:

  • Pre-purchase advice
  • Visits to potential breeders/litters
  • Settling your new puppy in/problem prevention
  • Settling the puppy with existing pets 
  • Advice on specific training aspects

Problem Prevention, Education and Training

The cost of each event will depend on the specific requirements and target audience. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
Telephone Support
The phone is regularly checked for messages but is not answered everyday or after 6pm. In the case of a behavioural emergency, a message should be left and you will be contacted back as soon as possible.

Evening and weekend visits 

If you require either a weekend visit or visit after 3pm, these incur an additional £45 fee.

*Mileage/Travel Time
Mileage is charged at 55ppm for a return journey from Malmesbury in Wiltshire (postcode SN16 0BX). This is calculated using AA Route Planner. Travel time is calculated in zones at a rate of £10 per 10 minutes.

Travel times are based on the quickest route AA Route Planner advises for the outbound journey only. Please note: Travel time is restricted to 1 hour.
